Church of Colour
As an architect and architectural photographer I've spent many hours studying and visiting churches and cathedrals. Apart from their architectural significance, I typically find them dark and eerie. However, this small church in Soll, Austria was quite the opposite. It was a celebration of colour.
Mi - Mountain Minimalism
One of my favourite things to do when out shooting is to photograph subjects with incredibly simple, minimalist compositions. I definitely enjoy creating visual simplicity by extracting all the additional visual clutter and framing shots which focus on one story. Photo taken in Soll, Austria.
Three Mile Dock
Located on Three Mile Lake near Muskoka in Ontario, Canada is my partner's family cottage. Spending time on the dock in summer is a Canadian tradition that I can't get enough of.
Mi - Nature's Gradient
I've always found new visual experiences when I've braved the weather and headed out with my camera. A snow storm provides wonderful minimalist photographs; expunged of detail and obscured by tone.
Mi - Silhouettes In The Snow
While on a ski trip to Soll in the Austrian Alps I was fortunate to be staying in a room with a great view of the bunny slope. The silhouettes created in the snow by the the objects and activities caught my eye straight away. I particularly like the dog sled.
